Metro Budget Work Session 4 Is Today, And East Nashville Should Keep Watching The Boring Part

Metro Council lists Budget and Finance Committee Work Session 4 for today at 4:30 p.m. in the Jury Assembly Room at the Historic Metro Courthouse.

The official page says residents can watch the meeting online through stream.nashville.gov, Metro Nashville Network 2, YouTube, and the usual Metro Nashville Network channels.

This is the fourth budget work session in the current run, with Work Session 5 listed for Thursday, June 4. That means the dull calendar item is not a one-off; it is part of the sequence where priorities turn into amendments, funding lines, and tradeoffs.

For East Nashville, the practical watch list remains the same: NDOT, parks, libraries, public safety, schools, storm response, housing, traffic calming, East Bank infrastructure, and the small service departments people only notice when they fail.

Every neighborhood complaint eventually asks the budget where it lives.
