The Low-Stakes Social Option

Not every useful story needs to arrive wearing a hard hat or a Council agenda. Sometimes the win is knowing where to go after work without asking three group chats.

The most social low-stakes option tonight is Game Night at Game Point Cafe at Bongo East, listed by Nashville Social from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Move-Your-Body Option

If sitting still is the enemy, East Nasty's Wednesday run page lists Route 8: 5 Parks from 6 to 7 p.m., starting at 201 South 12th Street.

This is the neighborhood option for anyone who wants their community event with a little sweat and a high probability of seeing someone they know at exactly the wrong moment.

One place to sit, one way to move, one loud room, and one civic quiet room.

The Loud Option

For music, The Basement East has Mixtape: 80's Tribute x Noise Pollution: The Music of AC/DC, with doors at 7 p.m. and show at 8 p.m.

The venue lists it as all ages.

The Quiet Anchor

And if the night needs to be gentler, East Branch Library remains the useful anchor on Gallatin Avenue.

Its page lists Wednesday hours as 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., plus Lapsit Story Time at 11 a.m. earlier in the day.
